About this Position:
The Data Analyst will maintain and improve in-house quality through business intelligence.
Responsibilities include:
· Analyze data, provide feedback, attend/conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of any project within and beyond the projects team.
· Maintain/Create Quality Systems and databases (Problem Tracking Chart, Horizontal Confirmation Request, signboards, SharePoint, Quality Inspection Control System, etc.)
· Support in the development and maintenance of quality reports for each department
· Maintain visual management boards through the quality division
· Analyze and develop user specifications, designs, codes, and test applications to meet business requirements.
· Prepares documentation on all procedures utilized by programs.
· Works internally and with suppliers to identify options for solutions and assesses for technical and business suitability.
· Provide subject matter expert and functional expertise in development of solutions that will resolve identified system issues
· Champion IAP and work alongside IT teams for system advancements needed to meet project requirements.
· Develop system standards relevant to project specifications and overall system vision to ensure system quality is met.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
· Prior co-op/ internship experience preferred
Required Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 6 years’ related experience
Desired skills:
· Basic automotive system/component understanding.
· Problem solving methodologies (FTA, FMEA, 5P).
· Visual Basic for application and Microsoft macro knowledge.
· Structured Query Language exposure.
· Quality control tool exposure (Pareto, Statistical Process Control, X-R charts).
Additional Position Factors:
· Office environment within automotive factory.
· Communication with front line leaders on factory floor.
