IT Business Analyst

This position works on a team primarily focused on MHDS systems and software. The primary focus of this role is on working with the team members and MHDS staff to trouble shoot issues and enhance usage of Credible EHR software. The candidate will also work with the team on implementing additional software packages both integrating and outside of EHR.

Examples of work performed include, but are not limited to: 

• Triage and respond to user tickets in a timely manner.
• Perform research and remedy reported issues in EHR.
• Research, test, configure and implement various EHR features.
• Assist EHR Administrator in troubleshooting and configuring issues with billing services.
• Assist full-time Business Analyst in implementing additional EHR modules.
• Assist with implementing any COTS software that is outside of EHR.
• Meet with program staff to enhance their usage of the system and familiarize with newly implemented features.

Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of IT best practices; advanced analytical skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; project requirements gathering and analysis; excellent communication and critical thinking skills; and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical customers. Experience with software implementation process is a plus, as well as understanding of relational databases. Must be able to work well within a team and independently.
