Mars Global Services Executive Computing and Technology Internship Experience

As a Mars Global Services Executive Computing and Technology Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:
  • In this role, you will be part of a wider Global team educating and meeting technology needs and creating an immersive experience every time our Leaders have a Townhall, broadcast, summit and a lot more.
  • Participate in reverse-mentoring. Using your younger digital experience to bring a better experience for our customers who a lot are accustomed to the older ways of working.
  • Partner directly with stakeholders and your mentor/mentee to define and evolve ECS (#zerodistancetocustomer)
  • Participate in team meetings, event preparation, feedback sessions, and brainstorms
  • Provide functional and technical support for the ECS customer base. This includes regular pro-active personal IT check-ins with your Executives, responding to user calls and requests, solving problems, service monitoring and change management.
  • Coordinate and document user training sessions on functionality and features, presenting upcoming enhancements and changes to devices and our services.
  • Project manage event support which includes: working closely with Corporate Affairs/stakeholders to provide digital technologies and support.
  • Develop and maintain support processes, procedures, and documentation
  • Interact with other teams, SITS, EBC, ECS Support
  • Participate in the planning and execution of system and testing and implementation.
  • Ensure the 5 Principles are followed for all activities.
  • Work as part of a global team in the execution of tasks/projects
  • Collaborate with the wider teams to drive a consumer-centric approach
  • Be curious, explore, learn, achieve, and have fun while doing it.


What are we looking for?

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT related disciplines i.e. Service Management, Project Management, Production, Broadcasts etc.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Technical savvy.
  • Intellectually curious and driven by a desire to explore and share with the rest of the team.
  • Can bring a set of fresh ideas to the team.
  • Strong customer focus and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including sense of urgency in implementation, attention to detail and capability to take corrective actions to keep activities on track.
  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate across a diverse set of stakeholders and cultures.
  • Works closely with other Mars Digital Technologies teams to properly develop and transition new capabilities.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Ability to excel in an environment of fast pace changing priorities and constant commitment to the highest levels of quality.
