Social Media Creator Intern

Datelink.in is looking to hire paid, remote Social Media Content Creator Interns to create novel, exciting, and humorous content for our new dating product. We are hiring Content Creators nationwide.

Datelink is the first-ever wearable, shareable dating profile. With just the tap of your datelink accessory, you can transfer your dating profile to another person at a bar, club, concert—or anywhere. Datelink eliminates the need for mobile apps and endless swiping, and strikes the perfect balance between organic introductions and the security of verified dating profiles. We are looking to disrupt the swiping culture and replace it with in-person introductions and socialization.

As a Datelink Social Media Content Creator, you will take the lead on developing your own ideas and content to help convey our company's product and values to consumers.

Responsibilities:

1) Content Development:

  • Conceptualize and create engaging social media content that aligns with Datelink's brand voice and values.
  • Develop creative and visually appealing posts, stories, and videos for various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Craft captivating captions, hashtags, and call-to-actions to drive user engagement.

2) Content Calendar Management:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and cohesive posting schedule.
  • Coordinate content releases with significant company updates, events, and promotions.

3) Visual Design:

  • Design eye-catching graphics, images, and visual assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to enhance the visual appeal of posts.
  • Ensure that all visual elements adhere to Datelink's branding guidelines.

4) Audience Engagement:
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across social media platforms to promptly respond to user inquiries, comments, and feedback.
  • Foster conversations and interactions within the Datelink community by asking questions, initiating polls, and responding to user-generated content.

5) Trend Monitoring:

  • Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, memes, and viral content to infuse relevancy and relatability into Datelink's social media presence.

6) User-Generated Content:

  • Encourage users to share their Datelink experiences by featuring user-generated content on the company's social media accounts.
  • Seek permission to share testimonials, success stories, and user-generated images in a respectful and privacy-conscious manner.

7) Collaborations and Partnerships:
  • Identify potential social media influencers, content creators, or brand partners for collaborations to extend Datelink's reach and engagement.
  • Manage outreach, negotiations, and coordination for collaborations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
  • Strong passion and interest in our mission
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong social media platform skills and experience managing social media accounts.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using common office software, such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a fully remote, paid internship. Hours are flexible.
