Collegiate Lead (Brand Ambassador)

Brag House is searching for dynamic Collegiate Leads (CLs) at your school to devise and execute on innovative approaches for elevating our brand presence!

Provide cross-functional brand awareness responsibilities,

including strategic planning and execution.

Brag House, a fast-growing tech company, has created a community in which gamers, streamers, fans, and friends can play games, banter, and win prizes. We are seeking someone with the expertise to take an active role with our community on the ground and assist with marketing and brand awareness for esports and gaming among college students, alumni and beyond.

As a Collegiate Lead (CL) you will devise marketing strategies and effectively create, organize and host events to grow our community on your campus! As well as collaborate with diverse professionals, including our leaders from our executive team as well as our marketing, technology, sales, and finance teams.

Our team will provide you with the info and additional resources to set you up for success as best as we can.

Through your efforts we hope to grow a community that will benefit from a new and improved socializing experience dedicated to gaming, esports, and college rivalry/comradery!

The Brag House platform

Be prepared to discuss the Brag House platform and its features during your first round interview. We would also appreciate any feedback you'd like to share prior to your first round interview, which you can add in the bottom section of the application form. Responsibilities

  • Assisting with growing the Brag House community on your campus is the forefront responsibility as a Collegiate Lead (CL). 
  • Create community growth strategies that are unique to your school. Strategies we can plan together for you to execute.
  • Be prepared to clearly, actively and responsively communicate with our leadership.
  • Be comfortable speaking, communicating and outreaching to other students on campus (familiar and unfamiliar peers), as well as build and utilize connections and relationships on campus with the purpose of growing the Brag House community.
  • CLs, prior to the completion of their projects, will support in finding a new CL on their campus to ensure the community remains continuously engaged with Brag House seamlessly – if Brag House determines project continuation is required.
  • Engage with the campus community.
  • Encourage current and new members of the community to create challenges on our platform and Discord (challenges are 1vs1 or team v team of game match-ups either within your school or versus rival schools).
  • Engage with members of the community through multiple channels of communications, including, but not limited to direct texts, group texts, direct messages on our Discord and on our platform and social media to encourage the facilitation of conversations, challenges and live streams.
  • CLs, for the purpose of bonus metrics tracking, will gather and report data to Brag House leadership from events, live streams and social media posts they execute on in connection to their assigned projects
  • Collaborate on marketing projects with team leaders and provide advice and insight on how leadership can improve current and future campaigns’ success in the region of your campus.
  • CLs will present to our leadership research they conduct and creative assets they create to ensure seamless alignment with branding guidelines and campaign objectives, all before the commencement of such campaigns.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from current and new users on your campus into actionable tasks Brag House can take to improve community engagement in your campus and how we communicate our unique value proposition.
  • Develop/lead marketing campaigns, with support from the team, focused on increasing users engagement, new users growth; present to executives your findings/results.
  • Provide Leadership with gaming and esports content, articles, and insights related to your school and students. This will ensure we remain informed on campus developments related to gaming and esports, and strengthens our relationship with the community. We may share this content on Brag House's platform and social media.
  • Provide advice and insight on other marketing projects as needed.
  • Assist with brand development and creating custom brand merchandise designs for students at your campus, in collaboration with operations and marketing departments.
  • Execute and host events on your campus such as game nights, localized tournaments and watch parties with the support of leadership and resources from Brag House
  • Provide advice and insight on company events on your campus that relate to Brag House college esports tournaments.
  • Attend periodic meetings to discuss your project (video conference call).

Qualifications

  • You love problem-solving while showing clear, logic-based decision-making to improve processes.
  • High attention to detail and advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Reliable - ability to meet deadlines and provide progress reports.
  • Interested in technology, startups, strategizing and marketing.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups, keeping perspectives aligned to a shared goal.
  • Previous marketing, brand ambassador and/or social media skills.
  • Experience with G-Suite (Docs, Slides, Hangouts, Sheets, Drive, Forms etc.) is a plus.
  • Live streaming skills and familiarity with streaming software programs and platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in conducting online research is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial at heart; Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are personable and love talking to people.
  • Interest in college sports and esports is preferred but not required.
  • Currently enrolled in a college (sophomore and junior preferred).
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 is preferred.

About This Opportunity:

  • Hourly Requirements: We are engaging CLs to develop and implement marketing strategies that are unique to their campuses; therefore CLs have the flexibility to determine the amount of time and effort it will take to complete their projects.
  • Compensation: As a CL, you will receive a monthly flat rate of $250. You will also be eligible to receive up to $750 in monthly bonuses and $750 in quarterly bonuses based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Location: Our current HQ is in New York, but we have transitioned to operating 100% remote.
  • Ownership: Your time working with Brag House will be meaningful and fulfilling! As a CL you will assist with identifying marketing opportunities and implement ongoing projects to address real business challenges – and we expect you to take ownership of these projects. 
  • Growth and Communication: As a new Collegiate Lead, you will meet your Brag House liaison who will be your main point of contact. Your liaison, among many functions, will assist in communicating your requested resources needs to management and provide feedback throughout your projects to ensure Brag House’s goals are achieved in the most successful manner.
