Graphic Design Intern - Fall 2023

Hagos Marketing is a marketing firm with focus on business development. We help small/medium-sized businesses build their client base. We are hiring a Graphic Design intern to create beautiful designs for marketing content for social media, online platforms, and print. This content includes illustrations, logos, and layouts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and create new designsÂ
- Optimize existing user interface designs
- Communicate with team to understand their business goals and objectives
- Develop technical and business requirements for design
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
- Test new designs to test audience appeal
- Conduct an ongoing user research
- Support overall company objectives as needed with graphic design as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to take constructive criticism
- Able to take feedback on designs
- Able to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to translate complex concepts and methodologies into creative design
- Proficient with Google Suite
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe, Canva, and others
Education and Experience:
- Majoring in Graphic Design, UX, Marketing, Art or related field required
- Some related experience is preferred.
