We have an excellent opportunity for an Intern with our Aggregates Department at our Medley, Florida facility. The internship will consist of the following:
Job Responsibilities:
·        Collaborate with Maintenance Manager, Mobile Equipment Supervisor, Maintenance Planners and Maintenance Supervisors to assist in the planning and execution of maintenance activities.
·        Contribute to the analysis and improvement of maintenance processes to enhance equipment performance and longevity.
·        Support the evaluation, repair, and upkeep of auxiliary equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal conditions for efficient operations.
·        Participate in discussions and meetings with the team to contribute ideas and insights for enhancing maintenance strategies.
·        Collaborate with the maintenance team and external contractors to execute projects.
·        Provide assistance on various maintenance-related projects assigned by the management.
·        Assist in the development of comprehensive maintenance documentation and reports under the guidance of the team.
·        Collaborate with maintenance planners and supervisors to analyze and improve maintenance processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and reliability.
·        Actively engage in teamwork and contribute to the achievement of maintenance objectives.
 
Qualifications:
·        Graduate or student actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on maintenance and reliability.
·        Lean-Six Sigma Belt Certification (Yellow or Green) is a plus.
·        Demonstrate effective communication skills in both written and verbal interactions with colleagues, vendors, and management.
·        Technology and data oriented. 
·        Exhibit keen attention to detail and analytical thinking to identify potential maintenance challenges.
·        Ability to work harmoniously within a team and take initiative to accomplish tasks independently.
·        Proficient ability in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
·        Possess a strong drive to achieve objectives and deliver tangible outcomes.
·        Able to comprehend and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
·        Familiarity with cost analysis and budget management in a maintenance context.
·        Capable of producing comprehensive maintenance reports
·        Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and actively participating in team initiatives
·        Effective organizational and planning skills to execute maintenance activities efficiently.
·        Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work towards specific maintenance goals and targets.
