Student Associate Program - Threat Management (Business Season 2023-2024)

 
JOB TITLE: Threat Management Student Associate
DEPARTMENT: Executive Support
SUPERVISOR: VP Shared Security Services
 
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Threat Management team is a well-rounded group that uses cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art capabilities to protect our legendary venues and our exciting new ventures and keep our guests and employees safe and secure. Our team provides security at all MSG Entertainment properties and venues, analyzes cybersecurity threats, performs investigations, and maintains security for our sports teams, the Knicks and Rangers. Working in Threat Management means you’ll gain valuable experience as we partner with leaders across the organization to ensure the safety of our venues, guests and employees alike. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·       Review sources of information (social media, newspapers articles, etc.) for relevance to security department mission
·       Assist operators, analysts and execs with production of intelligence products, including but not limited to BOLOS, Field intel reports, travel advances and assessments
·       Possible participation in offsite experiences for situational awareness of department responsibilities outside of MSG
·       Assist investigators with collection, organization and distribution of sensitive information within the security department
·       Take notes during interdepartmental staff meetings and prepare summaries for staff who were not in attendance

  • Detail-oriented, self-sufficient individual with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and attention to detail 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills 
 
STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS:
·       Undergraduate candidates with a class status of junior or above or graduate candidates
·       GPA of 3.2 or above
·       Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment
·       Available to work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week (35 hours required for the summer semester)
