Social Media Specialist

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and creating engagement within the community. The Social Media Specialist will also be responsible for daily content which includes texts, images, and videos to promote the City. Ensure that all social media strategies align with City values. The Social Media Specialist will stay on top of current social media trends and evaluate how the City can best participate, monitor engagement and interaction within our social media pages, and collaborate with other departments.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
Proven work experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other media platforms
Creative mindset
Organizational and multitasking skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and graphic design programs
Excellent written communication skills
Knowledge of computerized financial system processes, practices, and procedures
