Marketing Director

Job Summary: 
The Marketing Director at Guerra Financial Group will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall marketing strategies and plans that promote the company's wealth management services to prospects and clients based on the company vision. The Marketing Director will work closely with the leadership team to identify target markets, new sales opportunities, create effective messaging, and develop campaigns that drive engagement from our existing client database, existing prospects and new lead generation.

Requirements and Skill Set:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • Understanding of financial planning is preferred 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish is a plus)
  • Experienced in MS Office, basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns (traditional and digitally)
  • Very strong networking skills and heavily involved in community events 
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, text message marketing, robocall strategies 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Ability and desire to perform in a highly collaborative environment – working across departmental and supervisory level functions
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing leadership role managing 7+ employees
  • Experience with event marketing and event management
  • Schedule must be flexible and ability to take over client events (if necessary) 


Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Full oversight & supervision of a team of 7+ marketing professionals
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, messages and plans to attract new prospective clients
  • Manage and oversee the company's website and social media channels managed by your team
  • Create, oversee and manage content for marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and email campaigns
  • Work with internal teams to develop and execute events and client appreciation programs
  • Project manage and proactively communicate progress to the COO
  • Meet deadlines while juggling competing priorities
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through analytical tracking of KPI’s
  • Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly meetings with each marketing team member to track and review their KPI’s, position and goals.  
  • Attend weekly community events and client events focused on increasing brand awareness and company image
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. 
  • Manage all of the sub-department to Marketing (Digital, Branding, Events and Prospecting team) 
  • Develop and control budgets and allocate resources amongst sub-departments, projects, and all marketing campaigns 
  • Attend dinner parties, seminars, and prospective client events to oversee marketing strategy in action (requires a reliable vehicle)
  • Manage weekly email campaigns to clients and prospects
  • Follow-up and track client referrals
  • Work with parent-company marketing department to keep company branding current
  • Create monthly accountability report, illustrating: number of strategies implemented, contacts made, appointments set, and appointments kept
  • Other duties as assigned
