Base Salary: $58,900 - $115,000 based on experience

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Product Marketing Assistant to join our Investment Management North America Distribution team. This role is located in New York City and is HYBRID, with 2-3 days in the office.

Job Purpose: The product marketing team provides all product marketing messaging and positioning for BNYM IM products. There are many outputs that require product marketing attention - collateral, website, e-mail, campaign support, webinars, videos and social media messaging. You will focus on specific investment manager(s) potentially across many investment chassis - mutual funds, CEFs, ETFs, SMAs, and model portfolios. You will be responsible for delivering specific marketing material, new marketing material, sunsetting old marketing material, product launches and product closures. You will partner closely with product management, product strategy, compliance, legal, sales, strategic accounts and the broader marketing organization.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Project manage product marketing material
  • Project manage updates to website
  • Partner with Product Marketing Managers to learn about different

investment managers and product types
  • Learn about the compliance process and make sure updates abide

by compliance processes and standards
  • Strong curiosity to learn more about mutual funds, ETFs, SMA, CEF,

Model Portfolios and Direct Indexing
  • Work with automation team developing factsheets and investment reports
  • Strong sense of teamwork and being a key contributor/project manager
  • Work with other team members on their deliverables if

bandwidth permits

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • 2 - 4 years product marketing or channel experience
  • Preferably trained in WorkFront
  • Preferably familiar with Seismic platform

Academic/Professional Qualifications (or equivalent qualifiers)
  • Ideally degree educated

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,900 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
