Inside Sales Specialist

General Description /Position Summary: 
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Inside Sales Specialist will support the Sales Team, while working in collaboration with our Planning and Sales Operations Specialist teams to resolve sales administration, order management, and supply chain issues for Customers worldwide. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the quoting process.
  • New Customer on-boarding, set-up, and creation.
  • Review of Customer orders, ensuring they are in alignment with the quote, and that any requirements, T&Cs, quality clauses, etc. can be met and are flowed down for order processing.
  • Provide Customers with order confirmations and proforma invoices as required.
  • Working with internal teams to ensure the customer is receiving up to date order information
  • Navigate e-mails to facilitate timely and focused communication on order status with Sales and Customers.
  • Communicate with Customers and internal departments to ensure that all needs are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Provide post-sales support for the Sales team and Customers on order issues/expedites.
  • Work the backlog with Planning to minimize/avoid supply chain shortages.
  • Assist in optimizing revenue at quarter end by working risk backlog, clearing holds, logistics issues, etc.

Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience:
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Customer Service / Inside Sales or Account Management experience preferred.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
  • Resourceful and persistent in solving problems in the best interest of Flip Electronics and our Customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to details
  • Ability to solve complex administrative and non-technical problems, requiring breadth of Customer Service knowledge.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, interrupt driven environment.
  • Must be professional, detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Tools, Equipment, Software:
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) - PC proficient with thorough understanding of MS Office applications; Advanced Excel skills desired
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  • ERP Software - end-to-end solution for connecting and managing all processes
  • Comfortable with modern computer technologies (cloud storage, file upload/download)
