Jr. Technical Recruiter

Description:
We have an immediate opportunity for a Jr. Technical Recruiter to join our HR department and help us grow our IT teams. The individual will identify, recruit, screen, and present good candidates for technology positions. The individual must possess a unique blend of soft skills and technical knowledge in order to succeed in this specialized career path. Also, must be a people-person with the ability to negotiate, but also must have enough technical knowledge to build relationships with candidates in their industry. The individual familiar with technical recruiting is strongly preferred.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with recruiting team and hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled.
• Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
• Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
• Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews/initial screening, and other forms of communications.
• Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers.
• Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
• Attends job fairs; runs company booth at job fairs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task and get involved with multiple activities is a must.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
 
Education and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• One year+ of related recruiting experience is a plus.
• US Citizenship/Green Card holder (GC at least 3+ Years)
 
Location: The selected candidate must be flexible to work in an on-site office location in Leesburg, VA. Some remote work could be a possible option.
