Human Resources (HR) Coordinator

Description:
Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator role will provide support to eTelligent in order to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to processing federal clearance documents, recruitment, recordkeeping, and other duties as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Human Resources team. This role will collaborate with teams across all departments and ensure the company continues to balance the needs of the business with those of our employees.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
• HR Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and processing all new employee documents for federal security clearances.
• Maintains and updates statuses on all federal clearances including new hires, current employees and communicates updates to the leadership team.
• Assists with the recruitment and interview process.
• Assists Human Resources team with onboarding and Off-Boarding employees and prepares new employee files.
• Handles all employee verification requests.
• Assists with Benefits Administration including enrollments, changes and terminations.
• Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
• Assists Human Resources team with internal communication emails to employees and with corporate event planning.
• Actively participate in community outreach programs and perform other related duties as assigned.
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task and get involved with multiple activities is a must.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
 
Education and experience:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• At least two years related experience required.
• US Citizenship/Green Card holder (GC at least 3+ Years) is required as candidate will have to go through MBI clearance.
 
Location: The selected candidate must be flexible to work in an on-site office location in Leesburg, VA. Some remote work could be a possible option.
