Senior Technician

The Senior Technician performs research activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory and clean room environment. Records observations and measurements and reports the results to the Scientists and Engineers. The Senior Technician assists in the operation and maintenance of laboratory and thin film deposition equipment. Has knowledge of common and special tools, concepts, practices, and procedures used in a laboratory and clean room environment. Designs and fabricates fixtures used in the manufacturing processes. Performs troubleshooting and repair of coating equipment and general maintenance of the facility. Works under immediate supervision; and reports to Lab Operations Manager. 

 

Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain an interim and final government security clearance. The security clearance process requires applicants to complete a standard security questionnaire and undergo a thorough background investigation for adjudication.
