Product Marketing Analyst, Car Business Unit

JOB TITLE:                 Product Marketing Analyst, Car Business Unit
 
REPORTS TO:            Product Marketing Manager, US&CA
                                   
JOB PURPOSE:          Support the product marketing team to oversee and manage all product data/content creation and ensure optimal data collection, analysis, and distribution in order to enhance market share and sales performance. This role requires up to 40% travel.
 
 
 
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 
  • Support the evolving mission of the Product Marketing team by executing and overseeing a wide range of projects on data analysis, product systems management, product marketing materials, market, customer and competitor intelligence.
 
  • Gather and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.
 
  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations on competitor market share, products and ranges.
 
  • Compiles all Pirelli internal data sources into shared drive for accessibility.
 
  • Support the management of SAP B2B/B2C system using both Excel and SAP.
 
  • Support the Product Update file (Filling in each IP description/size /tread depth/priority etc.)
 
  • Support the senior product marketing analyst in monthly Phase In and Phase Out file, working closely with the logistics team.
 
  • Understands direct/indirect IP switch, new products uploads etc.
 
  • Manages the creation of new labels for upcoming  products and any new IPs.
 
  • Work closely with logistics team to ensure that all warehouses and global label support team are aware of the labels inserted in the system.
 
  • Provides the sales team with product data analysis, reports.
 
  • Creates and updates product presentation materials as needed to support business building efforts.
 
  • Supports the Training Manger in creating product presentations, leaflets, product catalog, data charts.
 
  • Supports the training manager with improving the presentation creation process marrying templated and customized approaches to gain efficiencies.
 
  • Creates the products specification files before a Product Launch is done.
 
  • Provides to Sales Key Account Directors & Managers product information to send to customers for the sell-in processes.
 
  • Supports senior marketing analyst in monthly audits of all Pirelli product data bases.
 
  • Complete regular updates to materials as needed.
 
  • Responsible for daily IP range management provided to the Credit team to receive payment from customers.
 
  • Supports Canada product team with IP range and marketing specification file for product validation.
 
  • Continuously studies the market conditions to assess the potential sales of products and services related to the tire industry.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
 
  • 3 - 5 Years of relevant experience on data analytics working with Advanced Excel, SAP
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration or similar
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint Knowledge – Proficient in Slide Master, chart creation, short keys, video links, html, insert designs.
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Python experience preferred

  • Great at building relationships with stakeholders at different levels in the organization
  • Strong communication, active listening and teamworking skills
  • Project management knowledge, being able to plan, do, review and standardize, always looking for improvements and new way of engaging sales teams and customers in learning about our product and brand.
