Resource Development VISTA
As the Resource Development VISTA you will be involved with local development activities that target tech skilling programs in rural communities. These activities will include capacity building for grants management, donor engagement, and local fundraising campaigns that can diversify the host site’s funding streams and strengthen the overall sustainability of the program moving forward. In this role, there are four primary objectives that the Resource Development VISTA is expected to complete by the end of their service year: Build the Capacity of the grants management system and local donor engagement program Develop partnerships with funding organizations to pay for tech skilling programs Develop marketing strategies for events, digital media, and print media outlets Develop resource- based deliverables identified by the Site Leader.
This is a year long service; provided with a bi-weekly stipend and housing.
