College and Career Readiness through Mentoring
Design and administer surveys for volunteers, caregivers, and participants to assess current academic needs. Meet with S4S and Anne Arundel County Public School staff to better understand current academic performance trends, grade level expectations, content delivery, and school assessments/data. Create a bank of resources for weekly sessions organized by grade level, content, and academic standards/grade level milestones available for use during tutoring. Design a scope and sequences of college and career preparation activities with resources/materials and an associated evaluation toolkit for the program year. Design a scope and sequences of Social Emotional Learning activities (building confidence, caring for ourselves + others, developing sense of belonging, etc.) using resources/materials and an associated evaluation toolkit for the program year.
