Catholic Charities Fort Worth - Community Engagement Specialist AmeriCorps VISTA

Catholic Charities Fort Worth (CCFW) is a non-profit in Fort Worth, TX, focused on ending poverty, one family at a time. Throughout our 113 years of service, we have evolved with the times and the needs of the community, keeping our clients and their individual journey out of poverty as our top priority. We serve 28 counties with holistic case management and affordable services, and rely on community partnership and support to empower and uplift our clients. By joining our Community Engagement team, you will implement strategies for engaging and cultivating community individuals, develop and execute a streamlined process for identifying and thanking new donors, identify new community partners to connect and collaborate with and lead poverty focused projects for these groups, and ensure the success of our Christmas Angels program. The perfect fit for this position will have experience in and be comfortable with public speaking and networking. They will be familiar with computers, Microsoft programs and willing to learn and utilize specific software. This person will need to be energetic, excited about our mission and eager to bring people into the CCFW family to learn more. This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.

Member Duties : You will implement strategies for engaging and cultivating community individuals, develop and execute a streamlined process for identifying and thanking new donors, identify new community partners to connect and collaborate with and lead poverty focused projects for these groups, and ensure the success of our Christmas Angels program.
