TheSocialTalks.com is an independent public digital news platform that generates news, stories, deep analysis of subjects, and editorials on pertinent issues that affect the contemporary youth.
At TheSocialtalks we write on social and political issues with impartiality and in-depth analysis.
Through a global team of writers, we work together to produce information with the aim of creating an informative environment that will not only encourage innovation but also fuels the need to bring more quality content.
Responsibilities
- Research local community, state, national and international current events
- Meet with the news director, reporters and other news anchors to be briefed on the day’s news
- Collaborate with the news director to choose stories to broadcast considering audience preferences
- Organize the news to present the most interesting pieces first
- Revise scripts and prepare to deliver them on-air
- Ensure late-breaking news is added to newscasts
- Engage in commentary
- Interview guests and other members involved in particular stories
- Introduce news correspondents reporting on the scene and ask them relevant questions
- Comply with the moral code of the journalistic profession
- Keep abreast of news developments by studying papers, attending events, etc.
- Stay in contact with industry professionals

TheSocialTalks are now open for internships and we welcome all the students who wish to spread their wisdom through words.
Stipend: UNPAID
DURATION: Two Months
After the successful completion of the internship, the interns will be rewarded with the LOI - Letter of Internship and a well-drafted recommendation letter (Depending on performance) for their future quests.
