Job Summary
The candidate is expected to hold Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology or related field, and show research productivity evidenced by publications in impact journals. The candidate will use advanced molecular biological approaches (including but not limited to Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, quantitative real-time PCR, chromatin immunoprecipitation, and various omics), microscopic approaches, and animal models to study gene expression, protein-protein interactions, and molecular pharmacology of anti-cancer agents. Qualified experimental results are anticipated for publication or grant applications.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing experiments towards the completion of funded research projects
• Assistance in analyzing and compiling results from experiments
• Assistance in writing manuscripts, preparing reports, and submitting grants
• Attending and participating in departmental seminars and national/international professional meetings

Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university in cancer biology, molecular biology, pharmacology, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications
Research experience in cancer biology, cancer pharmacology, or molecular biology, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality; Detail-oriented; Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases

Shift/Salary/Benefits
**This position is 100% grant funded**Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
