As a Development and Community Outreach Coordinator, you'll identify and pursue funding opportunities from various sources, including grants, individual donors, corporate sponsorships, and fundraising events. You'll also have the opportunity to make an impact by developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain volunteers to align with the organization's mission and activities as a Volunteer Recruitment and Management specialist. As a Community Outreach and Engagement specialist, you'll build relationships with local community organizations, businesses, and leaders to increase awareness and enhance the organization's initiatives. Additionally, as a Marketing and Communications specialist, you'll develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications plan to raise awareness of the organization's mission, goals, and activities. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.
