Business Development Intern

About RightWork
RightWork automates labor scheduling for the service industry, helping businesses optimize their workforce while accommodating employee preferences. Our software application and algorithm calculate staffing needs and generate schedules based on forecasted demand, employee availability, and preferences. 

Our Progress
  • Launched our original product in September of 2021, piloting it in two stores of a ramen fast-casual chain
  • Successfully expanded our application to all 15 of their stores 
  • White-labeled our scheduling algorithm for one of the largest fast-casual brands in the world
  • Focusing on sales now, and about to start four more pilots in the coming months.

What We're Looking For
Right now, we are primarily focused on new customer acquisition, and we are looking for a motivated, self-sufficient intern who is interested in building, implementing, and documenting a go-to-market/sales strategy. 

Responsibilities
  • Learn and deeply understand the RightWork product and the competitive landscape
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy and go-to-market plan for RightWork
  • Identify potential customers and develop a targeted approach to engage with them
  • Create and deliver presentations to potential customers
  • Collect necessary data and help onboard new customers
  • Document all findings, successes, and failures throughout the internship period
  • Collaborate with RightWork founders on ideas to improve product or sales strategy
