Customer Marketing Services Coordinator

Purpose
To coordinate delivery of content to support Diageo North America (DNA) Customer Marketing Services communication and information systems that deliver against market needs and financial objectives. 

Financial Responsibility
This position helps support the Manager Role with budgetary oversight for marketing communication projects that relate to the delivery of our programming, tools, and resources across all channels of trade via our technology portals 
 
Complexity of Role 
Proficiency required in the following areas: 
  • Ability to interact and collaborate cross functionally with, but not limited to, the following teams, Brand, Innovation, Sales, Digital + Technology, Corporate Relations. 
  • Experience leading early phase projects to successful conclusion with a solution-based, proactive nature with good project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to lead multiple projects at once. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach 
  • Good understanding of digital communication solutions to deliver objectives 
  • Ability to analyze data to drive results. 
  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and short time constraints. 
  • Role should have the ability to influence and develop deep relationships with key partners, both internal and with distributors and operate in a complex environment 
 
Key Outputs/Results 
  • Assist and support the implementation of program communication portals such as DiageoNOW, communications, and weekly calls
  • Coordinate the flow of sales and marketing materials e.g. Execution/Activation Plans, selling presentations, POS materials, etc. for all Brand and Innovation programs across the business. 
  • Support and enable rollout of capability solutions driving and embedding a consistent approach to critical initiatives. 
  • Select and implement appropriate commercial approach and tools to support commercial teams in achieving goals 
  • Coordinate special requests from Executive, Brand, Innovation, Division and Customer teams. 
  • Interact with external agencies and Diageo peers to make sure material quality and graphic standards are consistent with standards and Diageo Marketing Code. 
  • Support commercial organization with meeting logistics and content delivery 

Experience 
  • College degree with 3+ years of relevant business experience 
  • Solid knowledge of 3 Tier Beverage Alcohol Distribution System 
  • Working with promotional agencies and third-party vendors 
  • Ability to build and maintain key relationships with senior leaders across an organization and with external partners 
  • Demonstrated project management skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead / empower teams 
  • Must be IT proficient, especially with PowerPoint, Excel and Word along with digital platforms 
  • Proven success building cross functional relationships to successfully influence and negotiate in complex situations and solve problems
