Marketing Intern

Hyde Park Capital is looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our team to assist in providing creative ideas to help achieve our marketing and sales goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and business development team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies specific to the investment banking industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing and advertising activities (e.g. press release distribution, social media posts, email campaigns, conferences and web traffic monitoring)
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Prepare performance reports based on the collected data
  • Support the marketing and business development teams in daily administrative tasks
  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Participate in the management of the website and other online resources including but not limited to: LinkedIn, Leadfeeder, Hydeparkcapital.com
  • Scheduling, managing production of, and distribution of all marketing and branding documentation including but not limited to: social media posts, articles, blog posts, M&A reports, tomb stones and deal closure announcements, press releases, monthly newsletters, holiday cards. This may involve the following:
  • Collaborating with team members by leading brainstorming sessions for internal and external projects
  • Measure and report performance of marketing efforts, gain insights, and assess against goals
  • Active management of our website’s SEO efforts and best practices surrounding the optimization of these efforts
  • Help organize marketing and business development events

Requirements and skills
  • The ability to work a minimum of 20 hours week while balancing requirements
  • Experience in graphic design
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords, LinkedIn)
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
