Job Description: PQMS is looking for a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Federal Government Contracts and the RFP, RFQ, RFI, and IFB processes. They will play a crucial role in creating compelling proposals that showcase our company's capabilities and help us secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI), and Invitation for Bid (IFB) documents to understand requirements and ensure proposal compliance.
- Write, edit, and revise proposal sections that articulate PQMS’s capabilities, past performance, and differentiation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and the sales team to ensure accuracy and completeness of proposal information.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of PQMS's services and solutions to effectively address customer needs in proposals.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure all proposal materials are compliant with solicitation requirements.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines, ensuring all submissions meet quality standards and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in proposal writing, with a focus on Federal Government Contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of the RFP, RFQ, RFI, and IFB processes.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research skills and ability to translate complex concepts into easily understandable language.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with experience in proposal software being a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
