Social Media Intern (Bilingual: English and Spanish)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Social Media Intern to join our team at ProBox, a leading sports media company. As a Social Media Intern, you will play a vital role in managing and expanding our online presence across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, and Twitter. The ideal candidate is a hardworking individual with a strong interest in sports marketing and a passion for organic social media management. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry and develop essential skills in social media marketing.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage with our target audience.
  • Create engaging and creative content for social media platforms, including posts, captions, images, videos, and stories, that align with our brand identity and resonate with our followers.
  • Manage and maintain a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute social media campaigns and contests to drive user engagement and brand awareness.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, popular hashtags, and social media best practices to optimize our social media presence.
  • Analyze social media insights and metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates to ensure our strategies remain effective and relevant.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, as the role involves creating content for both language audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, and Twitter, and a strong understanding of their respective features, trends, and audience preferences.
  • Demonstrated interest in organic social media management and a solid understanding of content creation, storytelling, and community engagement.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and adapt to changing social media landscapes.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling tools.
  • Passion for sports and a strong desire to break into the sports marketing industry.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from the marketing team, while also demonstrating a proactive and independent work ethic.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
  • This is a part-time position requiring availability from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 5 to 7 days per week, Monday through Friday in-office and Saturday - Sunday with remote opportunity. 
  • The intern will be expected to work from the ProBox office during the week.
  • Compensation for this position is $15 per hour.
