Student Editor (Internship)
We offer a unique opportunity for college students to participate in an unpaid Summer Editorial Internship program.
This program will allow you to work closely with our professional editorial team and learn the ropes of online journalism and business writing. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a certificate of achievement, showcasing your hands-on experience and developed skills.
Check with your school's Internship Coordinator BEFORE accepting the hiring offer to determine if this position satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with producing content for our online platform, including proofreading, editing, and occasionally writing articles.
- Assisting with research for articles, interviews, and other content.
- Learning and applying SEO best practices.
- Collaborating with the editorial team on content strategy.
- Developing and pitching story ideas.
- Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate program (Journalism, Communications, English, Business, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of business concepts.
- Familiarity with AP Style is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with remote work and proficient with digital technology (e.g., Google Docs, Microsoft Word, content management systems).
