Media Planning Intern

As a Media Planning Intern, you are responsible for analyzing data, thinking creatively and dreaming up innovative strategies to make sure our clients reach the right target audience in the most effective way possible. Armed with critical analysis, media planners devise or recommend strategies for using certain media effectively to attract and retain customers, increase brand recognition, and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Media planners need to work closely with their clients, understand their wants, needs and objectives and then make the important decisions about what media channels should be used for specific campaigns. These choices have an impact on what the creative team produces and vice versa. You will evangelize new Hylink products and technologies throughout the agency, and develop and manage strong relationships with internal agency influencers and decision-makers, driving scalable product adoption and growth across the broader portfolio of accounts. Reporting directly to senior agency staff, you will learn the skills necessary to succeed in advertising, as well as understand emerging business models as they happen. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grows. You will be involved with a team of fast-paced, multitasking high-achievers. Covering training across programmatic, digital, industry analysis, and client service, you will develop influential, relationship-building skills, learn to provide Hylink-caliber client service, and fully grasp research and market analysis.  You will anticipate how decisions are made, and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Hylink's key partners and objectives.
