Business Development | Quantitative Researcher Intern (Quant)

  6. Learn from professionals in Washington DC specializing in lobbying, regulations, law, and policy-making within the technology industry. Understand the importance and impact of these aspects, as well as gain insights into regulatory compliance and legal considerations.
  7. Develop strategic business cases and conduct industry analysis to drive company growth and expansion projects.
  8. Participate in brainstorming sessions with the management team, including engineers, to develop strategic and creative business development initiatives.
  9. Organize and optimize data and research documents related to US national and international laws on IP (Intellectual Property) and regulation.
  10. Identify opportunities for business growth, suggest improvements to enhance structure, development, and sales performance, leading to increased success and profitability.
  11. Receive business development support, including assistance with marketing, sales, pipeline updates, meeting preparation, and reporting to contribute to the growth and success of the business.
  12. Conduct research, outreach, and relationship building. Lean how to gain partnerships drive growth and retention strategically.
  13. Collaborate on the creation and implementation of case studies with industry leaders, researchers, professors, and students from top universities and reputable institutions globally.
  14. Manage projects, set goals, meet deadlines, report progress, and serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their individual needs are addressed and overall satisfaction is achieved.
  15. Be involved in finance and quantitative research focused on valuations, go-to-market strategy, monetization, and risk management in the global financial markets using mathematical analysis (Quants.)
  16. Utilize analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, demonstrating proficiency in research (Quants.)
  17. Develop and implement strategy and quantitative models for (ALM) asset-liability management (Quants.)

Requirements:
- Interest in the intersection of (Global Markets, Finance “FinTech”, Trading, Banking, Law “LegalTech “Law, Regulations” RegTech”, Crypto, NFTs & Equities.)
- Passion for (AI) Artificial Intelligence, Web3, Blockchain, Zero-Trust Systems, Trustless System, Cryptography & Quantum Computing
- Full English working proficiency.
- Good Microsoft Office Package proficiency.
- Capacity to work well alone and in teams.
- Follows directions and report back.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Write, organize data in a structured manner and meet goals within deadlines.
- Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated research skills.
- Strong mathematical skills (Quantitative Research Interns)
- Knowledge of options pricing theory, algorithms or financial regulations (Quantitative Research Interns)
- Programming experience in (Python & R preferred.)
- Worked with Microsoft-Bi or Tableu (Quantitative Research Interns)
- Competitive attitude and eagerness to constantly improve yourself
- Strong organizational and project management skills (Scrum Preferred.)
 
Project 1 - Business Development & Strategy:
 • Experience a fast-paced startup environment while gaining insights from industry leaders and startup accelerators like Y Combinator.
• Assist project in determining technical and non-technical operational, business, and product requirements. Support Project and Program Managers in maintaining project records, including financials, issues, risks, decisions, and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UI/UX, Product Development, QA, Release Management, Implementation Management, and Operations, to contribute to organizational success.
• Conduct research, improve organizational processes and analysis methods, and present insights by analyzing a wide range of data.
• Perform competitor analysis to identify areas for improvement and gain market share.
• Communicate professionally with managers, executives, and investors.

Project 2 - Finance & Quantitative Research:
• Combine Artificial Intelligence "A.I." with Quantitative Research!
• Engage in Finance and Quantitative Research focusing on data analysis, valuation, monetization, competitor analysis, legal risk, risk management, and go-to-market strategy in global financial markets.
• Develop quantitative models for asset-liability management (ALM).
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of global financial markets.
• Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and create and conduct surveys.
• Collaborate with professionals globally for research purposes.

• Quantitative Business & Legal Strategy.
• Quantitative Fundraising Strategy.
• Quantitative Research on Law, Policy Making & Lobbying.



Project 3 - IP & Regulations:
• Learn about the legal aspects of business, with a focus on Tech, IP, and Global Regulations in the finance and crypto industry.
• Understand the global impact of related issues.
• Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and create and conduct surveys.
• Collaborate with professionals globally to gain insights and expertise.
• Research relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the global financial market and crypto industry.
• IP Valuation.
 
Project 4 – AI, Blockchain, Web3, Crypto, FinTech, RegTech & LegalTech:
• Work on an AI Project focused on Computer Vision.
• Work on a FinTech project involving crypto and blockchain technology.
• Gain an understanding of the technology and its applications.
• Comply with regulatory and legal frameworks, including executive orders and government rules.
• Learn about AI, Web3, Blockchain, Zero-Trust Systems, Trustless Systems, Cryptography, and Quantum Computing.

Project 5 - Finance & Funding:
• Learn about startup funding and the preparation process.
• Assist in researching and organizing a VC database for startup fundraising.
• Conduct data collection, management, organization, and analysis, with a focus on financial aspects.
• Work on financial modeling, valuations, and accounting.
• Perform competitor analysis to identify areas for improvement and gain market share.
• Help prepare and organize financial data for startup fundraising.
 
Project 6 - Case Study:
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of case studies involving industry leaders, researchers, professors, and students from top universities and reputable institutions globally.
• Gain an understanding of global issues and their impacts.
• Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and create and conduct surveys.
• Collaborate with professionals globally for comprehensive study insights.
• Research relevant laws and regulations in the global financial market and crypto industry.
