Orange Arrow is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2013, offering positive direct-action programs dedicated to serving youth and influencing their path to success using an action-oriented curriculum. The organization has formed partnerships with local school districts, after school facilities and youth sports leagues to deliver the program curriculum. The mission of Orange Arrow is to coach young student-athletes to aim for success off the field.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The purpose of the Overtime program is to mentor and coach 10-13-year-old boys in cultural survival skills, leadership, decorum, and the mores of society, enabling them to become productive contributors to the community.

Marketing& Branding Intern:
The individual must demonstrate the ability to undertake basic social media assignments possessing an understanding of basic social media skills. The incumbent must be able to interact professionally with various people while using good judgment in making decisions. This is an unpaid internship. The Intern must be able to dedicate 10-15 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing collateral for Orange Arrow such as pitch books, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Monitor all Orange Arrow social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, and Twitter
  • Maintain inquiries and requests across all Orange Arrow social networks
  • Research pertinent and relevant blogs and articles to share through social media platforms
  • Research latest social media trends
  • Develop creative ideas for current and future campaigns
  • Analyze and track Orange Arrow social media outreach to optimize strategies
  • Administrative duties as requested

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current college student enrolled in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising,
Communication, Business or another related program 
• Excellent visual, oral and written communication skills 
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess outstanding follow through skills 
• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency 
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; Adobe Suite experience a plus (InDesign, Photoshop)
