Human Resources Intern

About the role:
As an intern in our Human Resources department, you will gain exposure to a several facets of HR. These include employee relations, learning and development, performance management, rewards and recognition and recruitment and onboarding. You will also collaborate on specific projects with the department; in short, you will attain invaluable experience and exposure.

This internship is unpaid and requires a minimum of 12 hours per week on-site, but no more than 29 hours per week with flexible scheduling between the hours of 8:30am-5pm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work the department staff to audit personnel records and, when necessary, create and collect necessary documentation
  • Participates in the development of competencies, goals, and metrics for the KabaFusion talent management system.
  • Assists, as requested, in the design and development of electronic materials to support learning and development, talent acquisition as well as rewards and recognition programs related activities.

What you bring:
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s program for Human Resources, Business or other related degree
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are integral to the success of this position.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams. Power Point proficiency is required.
