Job Title: Hydrology Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydrology Engineer to join our team. As a Hydrology Engineer, you will play a crucial role in conducting research, developing models, and analyzing data to understand and predict the behavior of water in various environments. Your expertise in GIS, CFD, numerical computation, research mathematics, research physical sciences, atmospheric science, and programming languages such as Python, C++, RR, and GIS will be essential in solving complex hydrological problems. Individuals with a military background and experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and machine learning are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or PhD degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications:
  • A Master's or PhD is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in GIS, geoscience, geology, and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, RR, and GIS.
  • Familiarity with research mathematics, research physical sciences, and atmospheric science.
  • Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and parallel programming.
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques for data analysis and prediction.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and numerical computation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • US citizenship is required.
