Software Developer Intern - Development Team (2 roles)
Hired Intern for this role will closely work with developers in the team and will directly report to the Development Manager. Intern will be primarily responsible for contributing to software development activities including development and testing of deliverables throughout the development life cycle. Software Developer Intern – P&T – PXT Web Framework (1 role)
We are looking for a Software Developer Intern to join our Web Framework team to build & enhance the UI foundations of the Dayforce solution. 
Software Developer Intern – Operations - Test Ops (2 roles)
Reporting to the Leader of the Test Operations team, you will be part of a team that focuses primarily on building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions. You will collaborate with energetic teams of Developers, Test Engineers, and Technical Product Managers throughout the development process to ensure high-quality deliverables.
The Test Operations team’s mission is to provide tooling, guidance, and leadership in support of test automation creation, execution, maintenance, and metrics analysis as well as promote coding standards and quality test creation with an emphasis on maintaining a robust continuous delivery pipeline. This team owns the shared test automation frameworks, tooling, and test execution strategies utilized by teams throughout R&D. 
Software Developer Intern – HR Talent Team (1 role)
We are looking for a Software Developer Intern to develop a key module, the Dayforce Hub. This will tailor the Dayforce experience with their branding and content through configurable widgets and styles. The goal is to increase employee engagement and alignment with organizational culture. ​
Software Developer Intern – Tax & Payment (1 role)
In your role as Software Developer, you will be part of a scrum team comprised of high caliber, hands-on software professionals who aim to provide technical leadership and stewardship of the Ceridian Tax and Payment Solutions. You are responsible for implementing and integrating new products and features as well as completing and augmenting existing solutions and services. You work in collaborative manner with fellow Developers, Architects, Test Analysts, Product Managers, UX and other stakeholders throughout the development process to ensure the product is functionally complete and well-engineered.

Software Developer Intern – Integrations (1 role)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Full stack development on a web application including front end development of high performing UI controls.
  • Work cross functionally with the product development team to build robust, reliable, and scalable solutions
  • Develop a great product experience, while leveraging the latest technologies
  • Work on maintaining and supporting the newly built modules
  • Work with other team members to take ownership and responsibility for development tasks and make them happen
  • Build and transform the next generation Web Platform using modern UI frameworks.
Qualifications:
  • Smart and driven individual who is passionate about learning new technologies and building high quality cloud applications 
  • Strong academic performance in courses regarding programming languages, algorithms and data structures, computer organization, and discrete mathematics. 
  • Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Strong coding skills in a modern object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, C++, Python)
  • Working knowledge of modern web technologies including: JavaScript, HTML, CSS 3, SVG, JSON, etc. from professional or academic projects 
  • Working knowledge of modern relational databases architecture and SQL language through professional or academic projects 
  • Passion for solving hard problems and knows how to have fun! 
Nice to have:
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as Dojo, React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, etc. 
  • Experience with .NET framework 
  • Experience working with ASP.NET MVC 
  • Experience working with SaaS Enterprise Software is a plus
