Clinical Research Coordinator BILINGUAL: Spanish/English

Role Description
At Auzmer, we are seeking for highly-motivated Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) to work alongside our team on patient-oriented research projects. This would be a great gap year opportunity for any pre-health students to gain some experience in both research and clinical care before graduate school. Our CRCs receive extensive clinical exposure to a diverse patient population while growing their knowledge about research and clinical trials. If accepted to this position, you will grow in leadership by managing your own studies run by multi-national pharmaceutical companies.

CRC Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the implementation of a clinical trial, specifically patient recruitment, patient enrollment, data collection/entry, and quality control.
  • Maintain study documentation, specifically source documents, study logs, and patient charts.
  • Coordinate study-related responsibilities with Principal Investigator, Clinical Research Associate, study sponsor.
  • Manage study supplies such as lab kits, Investigational Products, and recruitment aid resources.
  • Perform patient assessments such as EKG, vitals, spirometry, and questionnaires.
  • Attend company meetings for improvement in productivity, efficacy, and team-work in running clinical trials.
  • Ensure the safety of patients throughout study duration.

Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in medically related fields and/or scientific fields (for pre-medical education).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in Spanish (ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a MUST)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
