JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Data Analyst will focus on delivering powerful capabilities across engagement touch points by leveraging data and tools to bring the voice of customer (VOC) and customer experience (CX) to life. The Data Analytics & Business Intelligence team plays a vital role in strategy and vision across the organization. This position leads consumer data selection (querying), organization, and visualization for key strategic initiatives. The Sr. Analyst/Lead accomplishes this through partnerships internally within the company, external vendors, and software/data suppliers. The individual we are seeking for this opportunity is expected to be driven by excellence and have a passion for data, technology, and business strategy. This role is responsible for using a mix of technologies and methodologies to identify highly customized customer opportunities for sophisticated product innovation. This role also acts as a consultant that interfaces between strategy, technology, and operational teams to provide options and identify new opportunities that will improve effectiveness across the company. In addition, this role will develop, support, and automate performance reports/dashboards to help monitor performance, identify anomalies, and evaluate business impact, as well as assist in the development of consumer models and segmentation.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for delivering impactful insights through data analysis that will drive business strategy and operational efficiency
  • Analyze guest behavior to identify patterns, uncover opportunities and create a common understanding of how guests interact with our brands.
  • Collect, mine, analyze and report data from various databases and reporting sources.
  • Build intuitive presentations, interfaces, infographics, and data visualizations to tell stories with data that convey key performance metrics, significant trends, and relationships across contact centers
  • Ideate and develop new metrics and analytical approaches, measuring performance for both tactical and strategic decision-making
  • Lead projects and requests from end-to-end, defining business needs, developing strategies and solutions that empower internal teams to make decisions efficiently
 
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications include:
  • Strong analytical skills - with a proficient ability to read/write complex SQL queries for data analysis
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (OBIEE, POWER BI, etc.) and strong storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with voice of customer technologies – Medallia and Qualtrics is a plus
  • MS Office tools, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of leveraging data insights to influence business decisions
  • Strong and effective communication, presentation, and written skills and ability to work in a global environment
  • Collaborative, self-motivated with a desire to lead strategic problem-solving, execution, and ownership
  • Entrepreneurship mentality and willing to be a leader in learning new spaces 
  • Experience with large organizations and/or broad role responsibilities
  • Strong data and process UAT and quality assurance aptitude 
 
EXPERIENCE:      
Outlined below are the academic qualifications and length and type of experience deemed necessary by Unique Vacations Inc. in order to perform the role of {Insert Text} competently.
Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics/Science or related is preferred) 
Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in analytics and/or business intelligence or related field
