Computational Neuroscience Laboratory Summer Intern

General Summary
We are looking for highly motivated undergraduate students for a paid 8-10 week summer internship at the Computational Neuroscience Laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital. The interns will be involved in analysis of fMRI signals, using cutting-edge signal processing, machine learning and statistical modeling.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn new computational techniques in Neuroscience and work on a Big Data project that aims to elucidate the neural basis of social cognition.

The Summer Intern will be responsible for:
  • Data preparation, signal analysis, Matlab programming and basic signal and statistical analysis.

Qualifications:
  • To qualify, you must be an undergraduate student (rising junior or senior by the summer of 2023), pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience, Biological/Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Matlab programming is required.
  • Interest in Neuroscience and experience in computational neuroscience and/or neuroimaging is preferred.
