Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated After-School Care Worker to join our charter school organization in Miami-Dade. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing supervision and support to students in elementary and middle school during after-school hours. The After School Care Worker will work under the guidance of the School Administration to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of students during after-school hours

• Provide homework assistance and academic support to students in elementary and middle school

• Plan and lead educational and recreational activities for students

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and productive after-school program

• Communicate regularly with parents and school administrators regarding student progress and behavior

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years

• Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting

• Ability to pass a background check

• Ability to speak English fluently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or higher

• Experience working with children in an after-school program or summer camp setting

• CPR and First Aid certification
