Sustainable Banking Solutions is a group within GCIB that provides deep expertise on ESG topics affecting our clients’ funding needs, valuation, and strategic decisions. The group is comprised of three teams – Sustainable Capital Markets, Sustainable Advisory, and Sustainable Funding Solutions.
As a Summer Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Perform comprehensive, in-depth research on companies and sectors to identify financially material sustainability metrics for clients
- Analyze ESG market trends and conduct risk mitigation measures related to sustainability claims
- Prepare meeting materials to help drive client dialogue
- Contribute to the structuring and execution of transactions, including ESG-labeled bonds and loans
- Prepare recommendations for clients on investor positioning and engagement on sustainability, including in the context of debt or equity capital raises
