Summary
Campbell's Soup Company has issued detailed disclosure regarding its sustainability activities for over a decade. As the sustainability topics, including climate change, agriculture, packaging, water, become more integrated into markets and companies, the Company is enhancing its disclosure to meet the needs of investors, customers, consumers, and other stakeholders.
Campbell's Soup Company Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CR&S) team is seeking a Reporting Intern to support a variety of disclosure projects and goals. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and organized graduate-level student, with strong background in sustainability, data management and analytics, and research. The internship will run from May 22 – August 11,
2023.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability and its intersection with business and markets
- Comfortable presenting ideas, outcomes, and solutions in a polished, professional manner
- Self-motivated with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet objectives and deadlines
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Knowledge of various sustainability reporting standards
- Strong background in Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of tasks and research with oversight from multiple team members, including but not limited to:
- Corporate Responsibility Report Development
- Scoping content and conducting interviews with key internal stakeholders
- Benchmarking peers and assessing industry best practices, and stakeholder expectations
- Participating in internal report steering committee sessions and workstreams
- Customer Reporting Improving internal data collections, analysis, and assurance for important customer sustainability reports
- Sustainability Rankings Supporting and contributing to efforts to respond productively to important corporate rankings, including Ecovadis, JUST Capital, and Corporate Knights
