Writing Intern

VSA Partners is a group of dedicated, collaborative and kind people that value smarts over egos. We work very hard to create human-centered, insight-inspired work that moves people, changes behavior, and answers real strategic problems. We started as a design firm over 30 years ago and operate today with a “design thinking” approach to everything we do. Formally, we’re a branding and marketing company that approaches business challenges holistically and aims to break down silos between branding, digital, marketing and advertising. Informally, we’re a family that comes together at the table every day to make something great.

VSA has a Recruit from Everywhere, Work from Anywhere policy so most of our roles can be based anywhere in the US!

Overview
VSA Partners is a design-driven branding and marketing company. VSA was founded as a design firm more than 30 years ago with the belief that design is not only a craft but a tool for achieving business objectives. As design thinkers, we approach business challenges holistically and aim to break down silos between branding, digital, marketing and advertising.

A little bit about the VSA Summer Internship Program:
Our interns work on “real work,” with real meetings, deadlines, and business challenges from our brands and clients. This is the education you won’t get in a classroom. Consider it career practice, with the freedom to learn, make mistakes, refine, question and tag along. You’ll work with an individual manager and a group of mentors in an outstanding cross-disciplinary environment focused on brand, communications, marketing, and digital. Through the larger program, you’ll take part in intern meetings, team activities (can you say networking?). And yes, it’s paid, with an hourly rate of $20, for 40 hours/week. It starts June 5th.

As a summer Writing Intern, you’ll be part of VSA's Content Practice. Our Content Practice provides brand and marketing audiences with meaningful content and communications that solve clients’ business problems. Across multiple forms, media and channels, we unite the art and engineering of content—strategizing, concepting, structuring, creating, adapting, publishing and measuring. The Writing Intern is responsible for developing relevant, memorable and highly creative communication for clients through language and ideas that support strategy, design and brand expression.

VSA Partners is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive, equitable environment for all employees. All employment decisions are made based on qualifications, merit and business need.
