A Day in the Life…
Support Studio Physical Resource Planning
- Build and manage Excel models of our programming slate that predict studio physical resource utilization: office space, specialized production/post production facilities, equipment and supplies
- Partner with Production, Technology, Post and Operations teams to explore resource optimization scenarios (build/buy/rent analysis, schedule/workflow changes, inventory management, etc.)
- Present findings to executive team to support strategic decision-making
Support Studio Artistic Resources Planning
- Build and manage Excel models of our programming slate that predict need for artists by craft group
- Partner with Recruiting and Artist Management teams on planning, strategy and metrics tracking and reporting
Experience Life at Disney Television Animation Studios
- Learn about the art, business and technology of animation
- Attend crew screenings and other studio events

(Preferred Qualifications)
- Proven success delivering in fast-paced creative environment
- Interest in Animation or TV/Film Production
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
Required Education:
- Major in finance, data science or related field
Additional Details:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- This internship is an onsite position -- Must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Glendale, California area.
- Program length -- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2023 through January 2024.
- Work details -- Must be able to work full time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
- The pay rate for this internship in California is $21.20 per hour.
