Swimming Instructor/Coach
At AquaKids, our swim instructors/coaches build confidence, develop safety skills, and coach competitive swimmers in a student-centered environment. We are committed to training our staff to teach swim lessons and coach swimming, giving them the tools they need to be successful.
As an AquaKids swim instructor/coach, you are responsible for the safety of each class/group, teaching swim skills and competitive swimming strokes. Your position is to encourage each swimmer to rise to the best of their abilities. You can expect to be regularly communicating with swimmers and fellow coaches. It would be best if you were someone who welcomes feedback and is a continuous learner. As a swim instructor/coach, you will report to the Office Manager, Head Age Group, and Head Coach/Program Director and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed.
We have a fun and rewarding work environment with an excellent atmosphere for someone who loves teaching kids and being around and in the water. We offer paid training. The starting wage is negotiable with prior experience. This is a part-time position that requires afternoons/evenings and some weekends.

- Love and respect students while teaching/coaching them.

Qualifications:
- Caring and compassion for children and adults.
- Ability to work in the water for up to 2-3 hours.
- Strong communication skills.
- Great attitude and willingness to be coached.
- The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to commit to at least one year of employment, afternoons, and some weekends are required.
