This position will provide our new hire with a uniquely experiential opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations of a prestigious legal group’s Payroll and Analytics Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining payroll/accounting information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.

Payroll:
  • Reconciling of timecards and PTO for payroll processing
  • Paycheck sorting and distribution
  • Preparation of checks
  • Managing the payroll inbox
  • Processing payroll changes in ADP
  • Bi-weekly batch creation
  • Liaison with the accounting team for bi-weekly payroll reconciliations
  • Assist with opening new states for workers comp/unemployment/withholding taxes
  • Assist with updating ADP with new SUI tax rates
  • Assist with resolving issues with multiple state tax jurisdictions
  • Assist with audits for payroll and accounting team processing
  • Assisting with end of year employee tax document distribution
  • Assist with ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • ADP Workforce Now
  • Multi state/company knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a time-sensitive environment
  • Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
  • Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge
  • Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year HR/Payroll experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
