University of Miami's Diversity in Cancer Research Internship Program - Applications Now Open

The University of Miami’s Sylvester Diversity in Cancer Research (DICR) Internship Program is funded by the American Cancer Society to improve diversity and inclusion in the cancer workforce by increasing the number of cancer researchers who, because of race and ethnicity, are currently underrepresented in the field.
 
We are recruiting 8 motivated undergraduate students from Florida academic institutions who are interested in cancer-related careers for a 10-week summer intensive in Miami and year-round mentoring and career development activities. DICR students will be immersed in hands-on, innovative biomedical research, clinical shadowing, career development sessions, and networking events with exceptional faculty members from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
