Medical Affairs/Clinical Operations Intern - Summer 2023

You will be able to take ownership on projects as well as get a feel for day to day work in your role. In addition to the project work, Medline will provide you with learning, networking, and social opportunities throughout the summer through intern specific trainings, lunch & learns with leadership, and fun events.

Medical Affairs/Clinical Operations Intern in the Medical Affairs department at Medline will work directly with full-time associates and senior managers developing and managing clinical trials across multiple Medline divisions. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and hard-working professional looking for hands on clinical experience at a large healthcare organization. 

Possible projects could include:
  • Contribute/assist with planning and execution of clinical studies on humans using products from our various divisions
  • Assist with Clinical Operations document management
  • Contribute/assist with the development of tools, trackers and process improvements
  • Assist with creation of content within Medical Communications, Clinical Affairs, or Clinical Development teams

Qualifications:
  • Life Science, Statistics or Engineering related majors
  • Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
  • Writing skills (clinical protocols, clinical study reports, literature searches, and abstracts)
  • Strong communication skills in groups or teams
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint)
  • Work with patients or other medical or research experience preferred
  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
