Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements for a variety of clients
  • Work with fellow audit and attest staff throughout engagements
  • Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions
  • Complete general audit procedures (i.e. coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence, resolving open items, etc...)
  • Research technical issues using online tools
  • Assist Seniors in running client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, and completing audit projects while managing to budget
  • Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines
  • Work closely with Partners, Senior Managers, Managers and Seniors on client management, professional development and business development activities
  • Participate in client meetings. May lead client meetings with smaller clients.
  • May supervise, train, and mentor interns on audit projects 
  • Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis
  • Other related duties as assigned
 
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
  • Proficiency with personal computers including spreadsheet software programs, general ledger packages, and computerized audit applications
  • Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to attract and develop profitable, sustainable client relationships.
