Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for a variety of clients
- Work with fellow audit and attest staff throughout engagements
- Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions
- Complete general audit procedures (i.e. coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence, resolving open items, etc...)
- Research technical issues using online tools
- Assist Seniors in running client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, and completing audit projects while managing to budget
- Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines
- Work closely with Partners, Senior Managers, Managers and Seniors on client management, professional development and business development activities
- Participate in client meetings. May lead client meetings with smaller clients.
- May supervise, train, and mentor interns on audit projects
- Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis
- Other related duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
- Proficiency with personal computers including spreadsheet software programs, general ledger packages, and computerized audit applications
- Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically
- Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to attract and develop profitable, sustainable client relationships.
