Sustainability PCB Assembly Intern

Position Summary:
The Sustainability PCB Assembly Intern will work to assist Indium Corporation’s Product Specialist Team with reviewing factors influencing materials pertaining to energy and CO2 production. The intern is responsible for partnering with employees to generate a report on sustainability that can be turned into a publication. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for STEM and wants to get hands-on experience working at a global organization.
 
Responsibilities:
•Evaluate existing publications and energy consumption factors.
•Assist with generation of sustainability report with Indium employees.
•Research new sustainability efforts that the company can use for carbon neutrality.
•Prepare data sets to show Indium employees potential avenues towards sustainability.
Requirements:
•All interns must be active college students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in courses for the Fall semester of 2023.
•Pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field.
•Comfort with graphing, basic math, and analysis.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Microsoft Office Experience required.
•Keen observation skills with excellent attention to detail.
Shift:
Monday-Friday/8:00am-5:00pm/New Hartford, NY
