Program Analyst Pathways Student Intern
As a Program Analyst Pathways Student Intern, duties and responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with partner organizations designed to obtain technical information as well as from counterpart organizations to share transportation expertise
- Conducting short-term research and drafting briefing materials associated with such meetings
- Preparing summary reports of activities conducted by the office and completing assignments stemming from commitments made in these meetings
- Communicating with representatives from various partners and integrating their requests for assistance with agency or office standard operating procedures
- Contributing to efforts to enhance communication to promote awareness of office programs and activities with a range of stakeholders
- Establishing contacts with state and local transportation officials
The ideal candidate for this position is an entry-level applicant with excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills and is a team player. Additionally, the ideal candidate can research, analyze, and evaluate workforce procedures, identify problems and barriers and provide solutions.
