Social Media Student Manager
 
The Social Media Student Manager is a multi-faceted position focused on oversight of all facets of marketing functions. This position emphasizes management, creativity, and marketing as the Social Media Student Manager plays a key role on the management team. This position is a great experience for students in any major seeking real world experience.
 
Qualifications:
•      Knowledge of digital marketing
•      Outstanding verbal and written skills
•      Time management and analytical skills
•      Friendly personality and willingness to collaborate with other interns
•      Availability to work up to 10 hours per week during the Spring 2023 semester with higher seasonal hours in May.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead marketing efforts on campus, through website and social media
  • Gain publicity and recognition via social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin)
  • Create, craft, and edit engaging visual content
  • Schedule publications on social media
  • Brainstorm and implement new ideas in marketing strategies
  • Write appropriate copy following the posts and publications
  • Collect followers’ feedback and preferences
  • Attend events and campaigns for the purpose of marketing
  • Stay up to date with current and modern trends on the Internet
  • Support customers via social media outlets
 
Terms of Employment: 
·       February 1 – May 31, 2023 commitment with potential internship extension through September 2023.
·       Competitive hourly pay with the potential to earn a bonus based on individual and business performance.
